MegaLink and TelUPay sign off pilot project for Mobile Banking Facility


MegaLink and TelUPay recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the pilot use of TelUPay's Mobile Enterprise Solution (MES) by MegaLink. TelUPay also powers the mobile banking system of some of the country's leading commercial banks.

The proposed MegaLink mobile service will enable cardholders of MegaLink members to do balance inquiry, funds transfer, airtime load purchase and bills payment, as well as, tap opportunities in other fields of mobile payments such as remittance and micro financing, servicing both the banked and unbanked.

The significant occasion was held in MegaLink's corporate office at OneE-comCenter, Mall of Asia Complex, and spearheaded by MegaLink President and CEO Benjamin P. Castillo and TelUPay (Philippines) Inc President Jose Luis Romero-Salas.
